Roots to Wine

Roots to Wine is an organization of small, mostly family-run wineries in Yolo and Solano counties that are dedicated to producing high quality wine that is tied to the land and to our communities.

The name “Roots to Wine” connotes the journey that the grapes take from the soil to the bottle, referring to the fact that the member wineries are in charge of the whole process.

Roots to Wine offers visitors from the Bay Area, the Central Valley, and neighboring states scenic routes through its up-and-coming wine country. The area is surrounded by fields and farms producing quality organic food and dotted with charming small towns where local restaurants feature local products. Come visit the beautiful wine country of Yolo and Solano counties!

Roots to Wine holds two annual events, an outdoor wine festival in the spring and a passport weekend in the fall, which attract visitors from both counties and beyond. Contact info@rootstowine.com for more information on these events.
